 - Les Grands Singes en sursis (1980, CIRMF). Presents the island chimp sanctuary program run by IRET and CIRMF in Ivindo in the 1970's.

- Apotrigona nebulata - Une abeille sociale africaine (1975, CERIMES). Filmed in Ivindo, presents the biology of the social bee Apotrigona nebulata.


- Abeilles forestières africaines (1981, CERIMES). Film about the social bees of Gabon.

- Figuiers tropicaux et pollinisateurs - Relations symbiotiques (1982, CERIMES). Documentary about the symbiotic relationships between figs and their pollinators, filmed in the NE of Gabon.

English Since the return of a single male lion to Gabon’s Plateaux Batéké National Park, this park now harbours four species of wild felids; more than any other park within Central Africa’s Congo Basin. Besides the lion ( Panthera leo ), the park is home to important populations of leopards ( Panthera pardus ), African golden cats ( Caracal aurata ), and Gabon’s only protected population of the serval ( Caracal serval ). Servals are open habitat specialists which mainly feed on small rodents. The species is most easily recognized by its long legs, short tail and large, rounded ears. Commonly, the medium-sized serval is boldly spotted black on a tawny underground. There are also melanistic individuals in certain areas, which appear completely black.   Length-weight relationships of 13 fish species from Akanda National Park in Gabon, Central Africa English This study provides the length-weight relationships (LWRs) for 13 fish species belonging to 10 families. Samples were collected in the mangrove area of Akanda National Park (ANP) in Gabon between May 2017 and March 2018 with fishing trammel gillnets (15 m long and 1.10 m high, 100 mm large mesh outer layers, and one 10, 27, and 40 mm small mesh each net). Fish total length and total weight were measured, with the precision of 1 mm and 1 g, respectively. The LWRs parameters for the 13 fish species had not yet been reported in FishBase for Central Africa. Our study provides large size ranges for  Monodactylus sebae  and  Pseudotolithus senegalensis  LWRs for Central Africa. Real-time alerts from AI-enabled camera traps using the Iridium satellite network : A case-study in Gabon, Central Africa.

  English Gabon, a Central African country, has long proven to be a fruitful testing ground for camera trap technology. The wealth of data generated means that there are large datasets from various projects. In this study, they built the real-time alert system by modifying standard camera traps (Bushnell™) ready to use. The system uses communication through the Iridium satellite network, it works even in remote areas without a telephone signal or without reliable Wi-Fi. The results show that the alert system can work for at least 3 months in the absence of humans when capturing a median of 17.23 images per day. The median time difference between taking images and receiving an alert was about 7,35 min, although some outliers showed delays of 5 days or more when the system was incorrectly installed initially and unable to connect to the Iridium satellite network.
